The native spirit of the Argentine people

"Espíritu Criollo" was founded in 2006 by Concha y Toro in Mendoza, Argentina. The native spirit of the Argentine people is represented specially by those who live in the Pampas: The Criollos.

Our wines rescue and reinforce the native aromas and flavours of the Argentine terroir. Following this spirit we named our wines: Espíritu CRIOLLO.

Argentinean Wines with Criollo Spirit

Espíritu Criollo delivers the purest expression of man and its culture in the Argentina’s land. The wine´s colours, flavours and aromas embody the roots of Argentina today.

A lot of fruit, good natural acidity and soft and sweet tannins are the main characteristics of our wines.

Wonderful terroirs at the Andean foothills

With approximately 160.000 vine planted hectares, Mendoza produces more than 80% of the Argentine wine.

We found here a wide variety of grapes adapted to semi-arid terroirs with heights which go from 500 to 1300 m above sea level.

Our grapes are grown in amazing vineyards located in the main wine-growing regions of Mendoza:

• Central Region: Maipú and Luján de Cuyo
• Uco Valley: Tupungato, Tunuyán and San Carlos.
